Layerslider Update

Hi !

The update for layerslider from inside the required plugins screen fails: Update package not available.

In another thread I've also found this: The latest version of slider is included in package betheme\functions\plugins folder. 
But this seems to be outdated as there is only a visual composer php file in this folder !

So how can I update the layerslider now from 6.1.0 to 6.7.6 ?
