Unable to Upgrade Visual Composer

I am running Visual Composer Version 4.12. I am trying to update to the latest version. I am unable to do automatic updates, so my company purchased a new copy of BeTheme to get the latest Visual Composer version.

How can I update this plugin WITHOUT having to purchase yet ANOTHER license?

When I go to Visual Composer > Product License, I get sent to this page:

We have bought your theme TWICE now. I would like some answers.

Please try to disable all the plugins then try to update it.

By accident, I figured out that that was necessary.

That seems like a weird UX decision to make. You may want to consider changing that in the future.
