Questions about post templates & sidebars

Hello, i have two question :

1- when i create a post category, a new sidebar is created, perfect, but how to link this sidebar with theses posts (from the category). I put widget in there but i don't see them.

2- How can i had a template for a post ? I create a new "template" but i cannot see it in "Layout > Template" . I just see two template "intro header" and "builder". And then i cannot find theses two "templates" .

Please help me

Hi,

1) You can assign a sidebar only for certain category, if you want you can make same sidebar for all the posts or separate assigning sidebar for each posts. Just edit post and there will be a Sidebar option in Layout section. http://prntscr.com/k5idt9

2) Template and layout are two different things.

When you make new template it just disappear?

Didn't you forget about saving or something?

You can see in my pictures:

1- template is well created

2- I cannot see the template when im editing my post

3- and my be theme status
