Setting background color or image to specific sections in a page

Is there a way to set a background color or background image in the Google Fonts shortcode?

I want to use the Google Fonts shortcode at the top of each page, for some intro intro text in a section at the top. But I also want to be able to set a background color or a background image, to explicitly separate this section from the rest of the content on the page. And also to give some texture to the page.

Basically is there a way to apply a background color to specific sections in a page using any of the shortcodes/Muffin Builder/Visual Composer, or in any other way?

No, this is unfortunately not possible.

Actually, it looks like it is possible to do this.

1) Go to the documentation http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/

2) Ctrl + F, type this into the search box SPECIAL ITEM - "SECTION"

It says if you add this item, you can set background color, background image etc.

Please let me know how I can add the "SECTION" item into my page?

If you think, section is enough and what you are looking for, then please look at http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#section where this item has been described. This is the item inside which you add other elements. Of course item is available for Muffin Builder only.
