Want to set 960px grid, but can't do this if 960px setting is ON & Responsive setting is OFF

I want my website to display in the 960px grid.

I go to Be Theme Options > Layout > General > Use 960px grid ON

All looks good.

At the same time, I don't want responsive behavior on mobile devices. I want it to display the website as is always.

I go to Be Theme Options > Getting Started > General > Responsive OFF

The website no more displays in 960px grid in the browser.

How do I make sure that the website always shows in 960px grid, regardless of anything else?

Is there some Custom CSS to specifically fix width of the website?

Hi,

unfortunately this is not possible to use 960px grid without responsive. Both options are strongly connected and that's why this is not possible.

That's too bad!

My workaround to this is to turn 960px grid off, and instead set a fixed grid. How can I do that using CSS is the Custom CSS box?

Also, how do I change the Responsive menu color? It shows as blue by default - what is the setting to change this to my theme color?

Responsive button color can be changed within below css:

#Top_bar a.responsive-menu-toggle { color: #000 !important; }

But unfortunately this is not possible to do what you want with grid. If you don't want to use responsive then use 1240px grid because we can't suggest anything else in this case.
