PHP 5.6 to PHP 7.1 error in BeTheme

Hi guys,

My provider will change all the websites from PHP 5.6 to PHP 7. But if I change it I'll experience some troubles/errors.

Maybe someone can help me with that. First error I discovered was to delete the plugin: Revolution Slider. But still the content isn't been showed.

This is the error right now:

Hi,
Is your theme up to date?
Please update your theme to the newest version and before updating PHP version please disable all of the plugins.

Is your website working correctly without plugins turned on?

Hi Pablo, thank you for your reaction. The theme is update indeed. And I just tried to deactivate all the plugins, but it didn't helped me anything.

It looks like the website have problems showing the Muffin Group/ Muffin Builder

Hi,

Your BeTheme version is very old - it's from 2014.

Please make a backup of this website using this tool: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Then, delete whole theme files and install the newest BeTheme version from Themeforesst.

Thank you Pablo. I've download the new one and made a duplicate.

How can I delete my older one? Because if I want to upload the new one, Wordpress says that the map already exists.

And in other Themes you have the "delete" button in the right corner. Hereby it isn't.

The only way to remove a theme is to go to your FTP /wp-content/themes/ and remove the betheme folder. Then install the newest version.

Hi Brian, I tried, but still my website isn't working. How can I see if I've download and upload the right version of the BeTheme?

It will show you how to install BeTheme.

If you'll download the package from here:

https://themeforest.net/item/betheme-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7758048

You'll get the newest version of BeTheme.

Hi Pablo,

Exact how I did it, but still the website will not be shown when I change the PHP. Send you guys an email as well, with my login details.

Maybe you can have a look, why the PHP update isn't possible?

PHP version is 7.1 and the theme is up to date.
