Hello, after 1 day, I still did not receive feedback from your co, and I did email over phpinfo, credentials, and license code, when can I update WPBakery??
after testing a lot of different methods we stumbled upon and issue where the theme is constantly in maintenance mode, we would also need your FTP account details to log in and fix this issue. Please send the link to this disscusiion and the FTP details. It is most likely that your ip is blocked, we will try to whitelist it.
Thanks for the FTP, we will come with a answer for you on monday. Then our admins will get the servers ip whitelisted and we will see if that brings an effect.
We tried to whitelist your server, but it shows us that it is in the USA and everything is fine, there is nothing being blocked. We would need that FTP access to check it more.
our developer had a depper look and it looks like the connection to our server goes thru and there is nothing blocking the file download. It is like your server is blocking the incoming traffic. We cannot even debug the wordpress backend actions.
It does not matter which version of wordpress you are using. Wordpress is telliing you that it even cannot connect to their server to check for updates. Your hosting disabled the wordpress update option.
There is nothing more than we can do, if your hosting provider cannot help you, we would suggest changing the hosting company. This is not a theme issue or an issue with our server. We cannot do anything about it.
We mean that the possibility to download updates for the theme, plugins is somehow disabled on your server. The fact that wordpress will not also update just shows that there is somwthing wrong with the hosting. We really cannot do anything more, it goes out of the support policy. This is not a theme issue.
wordpress is NOT your product, and other plugins can update.
I am saying it is your theme, and I did upload older version of WPBakery, and your theme don't let me use it and force me to update while it cannot update...
This is true, but if wordpress has problems with your hosting then it shows that there is something wrong with it. The theme will also not update and this just shows that the server is the issue here. I am not saying that wordpress is our product but every theme is built upon wordpress, so the connection between wordpress and the theme is pretty strong.
All we can do is offer you a refund. There is nothing more that we can do in this case. We are sorry.
