Update Error

Hello!

I've been experiencing an error using the automatic update for BeTheme and its plugins through the dashboard.

Today, I manually uploaded the full theme through my client's cPanel when it couldn't complete via the dashboard. However, I have three plugins that need updating and I'm getting an error in the dashboard "The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature".

Any idea how I can remedy this? I have other clients also using BeTheme and the same hosting provider (GoDaddy) and have no problems.

Hi,
contact your hosting provider and make sure that the current version of PHP on your server has CURL enabled.

Hello.

I'm still experiencing this error with any new clients that I purchase your theme for. I've contacted GoDaddy and they have confirmed cURL 7.36.0 (https://www.godaddy.com/help/software-versions-installed-on-hosting-accounts-897??v=1) on the cPanel Shared Hosting plans.

Any help is appreciated. I see now there are plugins that need to be installed/updated that I can't seem to access at all because of this connection issue.

This issue is hosting related, and we can do nothing at all.
Please contact your hosting provider and ask him about the connection to our API.
All errors connected with cURL/PCLZIP are always solved by hosting provider support.

Also, did you try to disable all of the plugins, clearing the cache and then updating the plugins?
