Action bar email field + shortcode or html?

Hi,

My client does not want [email protected] displayed on the action bar. I do not believe the action bar email field is HTML or shortcode friendly from the control panel area, but I just wanted to ask if there was a way to create a link in that space without displaying the email address "text".

Hi,

should be possible to use link in slogan field so please just try it. You can control these details under Theme options > Menu & Action Bar > Action bar section.

For future update (suggestion) - Allow action bar email field to accept html/shortcodes and/or open a pop up form when clicked on.

We'll consider this but it won't be probably possible because e-mail field must be hardcoded in the theme because many people do not know how to use html tags.

Yo muffingroup,

I was looking to put a shortcode in the header at first for an account login link.... but after reading this I did some digging and in social media area I found "custom icons" and one is an account login one.

Is it possible to format so the account icon is on the left in the action bar and social icons are to the right? (so icon would be where the "request a demo" text is now)

Hi,
I'm not sure what you want to achieve, but changing the location of these is not possible.
Also, there is no possibility to place a shortcode inside the action bar.
