Portfolio questions
Hi,
In the BeTheme options for Portfolio one can choose the option "Portfolio Page" to Assign a page for portfolio.
What is the effect resp. what is the sense, if the portfolio will be shown on all the sites with "Portfolio" template anyway?
And a second question concerning the Portfolio categories.
Can they only be used with items in Muffin Builder, or can they also be used as a filter, when the template "Portfolio" is applied to a page?

1) The "Portfolio" template is a normal page with "portfolio" item with settings same as the main category page (chosen in Theme Options > Blog, portfolio & shop > Portfolio)
2) I do not understand "be used as filter".
You can use Muffin Builder items on this page(main category page), but it will always appear above the content of the portfolio page.

This option is like assigning the main page of the portfolio.
2) I'm still not sure what you want to achieve.
The first screenshot you sent, shows a portfolio item with category only.
And the second one you select the main page of the portfolio, where all of the portfolio items will appear.
The third screenshot will show you the same as the second picture (main page portfolio)
If you want to use dynamic filtering, use a jQuery filtering
