Add content to category page

Hi!

I would like to add more stuff to my category pages. At the moment there is just the previews to blogposts, but I'd like to add some text, maybe images etc. to optimize the categories for google (SEO). How do I add text etc. to category pages?

The description can be changed in Posts > Categories

That's only way to add description to category.

You can add it in Muffin Builder, just edit the main assigned page for the blog.
But remember, all things added in MB will appear above the blog posts.
