mailto: link in action bar

Client doesn't want their email address shown in the action bar. They prefer a link [Email Us!] which I tried to accomplish by using html mailto: code rather than entering the email address in theme options / action bar.

Is this possible? If so, what do I need to do?

Hi,

You have to insert whole "mailto" into the href.

I mean <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Contact me</a>

I've done that. Double-checked to make sure the coding is correct. Cleared then deleted cache. Same thing. This is the code entered into Theme Options / Menu & Action Bar / Action Bar: <a href="mailto:[email protected]" target="new">Email Us!</a>

What am I missing? I can provide access to the site if you want to see the actual entry on the site.

Oh, I through that you had inserted it as a social second menu.

Nevermind, forgot what i told you before.

Insert just a e-mail there.
