Category question

On my site I have a number of posts assigned to categories. However when I go to the page that is supposed to show all posts in category A it shows posts that are not in category A. It seems to be showing the latest posts instead. The content does not change when I select different categories.

Hi,

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check again.

Also, update your theme to the newest version.

I have done what was asked and the problem persists.

I think I see what is happening. It looks like the category pages are not working like I want. I want the category page to only show posts in the selected category. What is being displayed are the most recent posts followed by the load more button followed by the posts in the category selected.

Is this something I can change in theme settings?

I was on your website, and you had inserted a blog 'item' inside the blog page.
Blog item has separate settings which are overwriting the Theme Options settings.

I removed that item from blog page, and everything works fine now.
