Comments not appearing?

I am using wpbakery to edit my portfolio items.

If I use the default template, then the featured image gets shown on the portfolio item, and after that the wpbakery layout appears.

If I use builder template, then the comment box disappears despite comments being allowed.

I want comments to be shown, what can I do to fix this?

Hi,

Please go to Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio

Turn on the option "Comments"

The option is toggled on, but comments are still not appearing.

Is this happening when the page is not edited with WPBakery?
Also, try to disable all of the plugins (without WPBakery), clear the cache and check if the issue still exists.

No, only with wpakery. If I use the classic editor then comments appear. I took a look at my plugins and none are conflicting with this particular error.

Is your template other than "builder"?

It's inside the Page Options, on the bottom of the page.
If yes, then comments will be not displayed.

Using builder template, wpbakery page editor, and comments enabled. But the comments are still not appearing.

As I said, they will not be displayed on builder template.

Comments will be displayed only on other templates.

There is no way to display comments on builder template, and no way to edit a template if you don't use the builder template?

Hi,
You can use the "Default Template" and it will allow you to use the Muffin Builder and Comments at the same time.
