Override content-post.php & content-portfolio.php

Hi

How do I override the following files in my child theme? I added them to my child theme with the same path but they are not being used.

/includes/content-post.php
/includes/content-portfolio.php

FYI, I added /includes/content-single.php and it works perfectly. Just not post and portfolio.

Hi,

child theme will use only the main wordpress files, like post.php or functions.php.

It will not take over files that are added by the theme, like your /includes.content-post.php
