Portfolio link to external site.

Good morning Muffin Group,

I went through the support discussion for Portfolio but, didn't come across this question that seems to be a self explanatory question.

I am using Be Disco, one page layout. How do I change the url to an external site for my portfolio, rather than having it go to the internal portfolio attachment page? I know when you go to BeTheme Options > Portfolio > Portfolio Link, you can change the functionality, but how can I change the url?

I noticed you can add a url for the portfolio item as well, but that doesn't seem to work either. Am I missing something in the Media Gallery?

Hi,

as you mentioned above, under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio section you have "Portfolio Link" option where you can change link to external site. But link for each portfolio site can be set under "Portfolio Item Options" section where "Website" field is while editing portfolio items.

what happened to those options? Are they removed? I can't find them in this new version, so how do I go about achieving this?

You set up the link in the single portfolio when you edit it, not in theme options.

Dear,

Could I change portfolio-item and portfolio-types to new url when I translate from English to Vietnamese. For easy understanding, when English url is: portfolio-item but when to Vietnamese I would like it become khach-hang for example. Is that could be done?

Hi,

Unfortunately, basic BeTheme doesn't have this option.

You can only change it globally in Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio

The WPML plugin (string translation) allows you to do it.
