Revolution Slider in Cake-Template

Hello there,

i discovered a problem when using the betheme template "cake" with revolution slider.

I added a full-width slider into my page (http://test.artandknowledge.com/test/index.php/impressions/), but the "center" is not the center of the page without the menu, it is the center inclusive the menu. So the slider does not show up correctly. Is there any option to adjust that?

Hi,

The Revolution Slider is set to "full-width" of the website, so it's behind the menu too.

You should push a little bit it to the right in the revolution slider slide settings.

The problem is not that the Video isnt perfectly centered, but the left arrow to skip the slide backwards is not in the field of view. is there anything how i can change that without pushing the slider out of my window on the right site?

It cannot be full width because like Pablo said, it is behind the menu. And this is a normal thing.

What you need to do is create the slider and paste it as a shortcode into a section>column item.

This way the slider will be as wide, as the section and will not go behind the menu.

Okay thank you Bryan for that solution.

If i paste the shortcode into a content-section of a column, the product is the same. What option do i have to change that it fits into the main part of the site?

You changed the slider to the cakes one, and it looks fine.

Like we said before, you just had to edit the slider and disable full width, then select auto.

Now you see two arrows.
