Revolution Slider deactivated after failed update

In wordpress backend at plugin section enclosed message is displayed

The following plugin needs to be updated to its latest version to ensure maximum compatibility with this theme: Slider Revolution.

Installed version: 5.4.7.1

Available version: 5.4.8.2

After Plugin has been updated. Following Messages are displayed

Download update http://api.muffingroup.com/plugins/download.php?code=&plugin=revslider …

Unzip updated Version …

Install Updates …

The Plugin could not be updated. Folder is empty.

Plugin-Update failed.

After this update the Revolution Slider Plugin is disabled.

Please tell me what to do.

PS: PHP 7.2.15 is used.

Hey,
this message could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain.
Please use this tool to manage your license keys:
http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest

Thanks for help. Yes, it is true, that we are using this licence key for production and a test environment. Is there a chance to use license key for different stages?

You can do with your license key what you want, but you it have to be registered only one the one domain. The only exceptions are for subdomains or subfolders. You can register
unlimited subdomains with one license key, as long as the main domain is
registered under the same key.
This also applies to subfolder on localhost installations.
