Changing size of mobile logo

Hi. I am trying to create a logo for mobile view that is large enough, without covering the menu or search icon. 
In this first example, the logo is too small.

In second image, I like the size, but it is covering the search icon.

How do I control the width of the mobile logo, to maximize size while not covering the icons? Is there an ideal size for mobile logos? Is it possible to increase the height of the header in mobile, to allow for a larger logo?
