  • Hi,
    have you tried clearing the browser cache?
    This looks like the only explanation if the css line was removed.
    We also suggest overwriting this css, with new css. You can paste it in theme options>custom css and add !important
    thanks
  • Yes, i've done that.

    I have two liscences of Betheme but using two different templates.  Managed to find a work around for the one above, but can't figure out why one theme template is messing with the CSS but the other isn't.

    Here are the examples:

    incorrect

    correct

  • Hey,
    you do not need to modify the theme files to change css.
    Just get the same CSS rule and change the settings there, then paste it into theme options>custom css&js>css

    .style-simple table:not(.recaptchatable) tr:nth-child(2n) td {
    background: red !important;
    }
    thanks
  • That doesn't work because it overwrites all of the rules for availbility.  Everything will then show what every you set the background to as the permanent color.  The i-frame is a div and grabbing it's own CSS from the app.

    I need that css to take priority not your theme's.

    Why does on site do it and with the same base them it overwrite it on another.

    Ok, we understand. The problem with this plugin is that it is poorly made, it will work on themes like "twenty sixteen", but not with big themes, like betheme. Our theme has a lot of css that styles tables and we cannot get rid of it.
    The plugins uses short CSS rules which have no priority over the theme css. Even if you remove the shortcodes.css 1735 line it will still now work.
    The green color is not even made with background-color but with background-image, see:

    THe second link. where it is working is made with an iframe.
    We cannot modify the whole theme for a plugin we do not support.
    thanks
  • It works just fine with your theme.  The second link that is working is your theme!  So why does it work with one of your theme on one website but not the other.

    it's clearly a problem with Aquapark in Betheme as this code works on three other Bethems licenses that i have purchased.  I own 4 of of your Be Themes in total.

    Please fix the problem with Aquapark so that our reservation system works like it does with all your others.

  • The second link you have send us is an iframe placed on the website. This is why the betheme styles do not work for it. The only way of using this plugin is apparently via an iframe.

    The type of pre-built website you use does not matter. Inspect the code in the first link and in the second one, it is completly different and the second links uses an iframe.
    thanks
  • It's not a plug in, it's just HTML code inserted into your website, done the exact same way for both.

    I'll give you admin access if you pm we can that this off the public form if you'd like.
  • same snippet of code, different website works just fine and doesn't butcher the css.

    Issue isn't the code it's aqua park css, please find a solution, i've paid for 4 extended support plans with Be Theme and this is the only issue i've had.
  • The aquapark pre-built website has nothing to do with the css that is loaded from shortcodes.css
    This is a core betheme CSS file regardless which demo website you install.

    1. This is the incorrect link, you provided: [Links visible only for registered users]

    This is the screenshot of the code: [Links visible only for registered users]

    2. This is the correct one: [Links visible only for registered users]

    This is the screenshot of the code : [Links visible only for registered users]

    You can clearly see that in the second link, the code for the whole callendar is inserted via an iframe.

    The third link you have sent is a website, not even hosted on wordpress so it is not relevenat.
    We will not change the whole theme css just for a plugin we do not support.
    Please continue with an iframe loading method or contact your web developer to make various changes in the theme code.

    May I remind you of the policy which you accepted upon purchasing a license, it clearly says that:
    Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend contacting the author to see if they privately offer paid customisation services or checking out the great service providers on Envato Studio

    Our policy also states that we do not support third party plugins or custom code so unfortunately, we cannot be of any help to you. Also, we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar: [Links visible only for registered users]

    thanks

  • another example in wordpress

    another wordpress

    All with out issue, i have more if you'd like.
  • The first two link are made using an iframe, which we already covered.
    The last link is not betheme.
    It does not matter how many links you send, the fact is that the plugin is not working with the theme and will not work unless you use an iframe.
  • Not to leave you without any sollution, I can think of two possible sollutions, but they are not 100%. Cannot test it since I do not have the plugin you are using.

    1. Go to theme options>global>general and change the style from simple to classic
    2. Got to theme options>global>advanced and check the HTML table dropdown, there are other styles that might not collide.
