Error occur while updating Theme and Installing any of theme Plugins

  Thanks for your message. I have confirmed with hosting company as CURL is already enabled. Actually when I have tried to update the plugins its shows error "Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute" and after some time website doesn't start. So the I have deactivate all plugins from FTP and then again login in WP Admin and activate one by one plugins. But now when I am updateing the Theme and activating or updaing any Plugins its getting error.

  Please let me know now what to do so that I can get website back. Well I have website in my own subdomain too but that is old one as client has update the text in many pages and latest backup I dont have so if possible need to fix this asap
