504 Gateway Time-out error when installing plugins

I get a 504 gateway error when installing plugins. I contacted the hosting company, they assured me that they fixed the problem by making the temp folder bigger, they installed a newer version of php and they maxed the server time but i still get that error. Please help me because I am facing serious development deadlines.

Hey,

can you please check your system status tab in the betheme dashboard?

What about the time limit on your server?

Also, disable all plugins while installing new ones.

The problem appears in the Betheme plugins just after activating the theme

Does this happen when all of the plugins are disabled?

Also, is your theme and wordpress up to date?

cannot upgrade due to the same reason =(

Sorry, but it looks like the problem is related to your plugins which are not bundled with the theme.

Did you disable them while doing all of the stuff above?
