Adding a second logo

Hi,
We have a website

that we made with Betheme and the template was Insurance 2,
https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/insurance2/

Our client wants to have one more logo on the right side of the menu (it is some logo of a certificate for transparency).
Is there an easier way to do this tyhen to write a custom code?

Please help.

Stefan

  • Hello Stefan,
you can use the Muffin Heade Builder to place more than one logotype into your header.
You will find it in betheme>install plugins.
    cheers!
  • Hi Brian,
Great, we will try it. I will try again if we need some additional help.

    Cheers!
  • Hi,
    So here is an update...
We added the second logo, but we have two problems.
    https://dentists-and-friends.de/

Mobile version and tablet version are falling apart.
Tablet version- the menu links are in three rows.
Mobile version- the new logo is cut (perhaps we need to make it smaller)

And the second problem is that it seems that there isn't a way to add another url for the new logo.
We can't link the Transparency logo to their website and at the same time to have the home page url behind the logo of Dentists and frineds.

    Can you please help?
  • Hi,
    1) Yes, it will be falling down because they does not have space to fit and they are wrapping down to show all of them.
All what we can suggest in that case is to make dropdown(hamburger) menu for tablet/mobile, not only for mobile.

    2) Yes, indeed.
But you can use the "Image" item instead and provide a link to other page in the settings of that item.
    Thanks

  • Hi Pablo,
Thanks for your tips. They were really helpful.
However, we still need help with number 1...
For example, on my iPad, the menu is still not changing to a hamburger menu.
How do we aim the specific screen sizes? Is there a specific code that you can share with us perhaps?

    Thanks!

It's not possible to change it easily without customizing the Muffin Header Builder's files.
As you probably know, we do not help with this kind of modifications.

We'll surely take a look at the behavior in that case, I've already provided that information to the Developers.

The problem is related to the Retina display, because it these screens has more pixels.
1 retina pixel = 4 normal pixels and while the tablet is really big >= 11" then it can be problematic.
On all other (android) tablets, it will gonna display correctly.

Also, you could use the @media queries to create another break which will be earlier.
    More about media queries here:

    Thanks
  • Hi Pablo,
Thank you very much for your help.
We will consider these tips and think about it a bit...

    Cheers!
