how to set number of Testimonial shown?

how to set number of Testimonial shown in Testimonials List function? Right now, it shows all how to set number of testimonials in each category. I just want to show only 3 testimonial per category (vertical display). 

Plus..... on Testimonials carousel function, I just want to show only 1 testimonial  

please advice, how to set this

    Hi,
    The only way to change the amount of displaying the testimonials is by adding them to special category for them.
    This item is made to display all of them, the limitation can be set only by customizing the theme files, which unfortunately we do not support.
