Is there a way on the portfolio display page - taxonomy-portfolio-types.php - to add styled intro text/header?

Adding text to a 'Portfolio > Category > Description field' will display the description at the top of the portfolio page - taxonomy-portfolio-types.php.

But any attempt at adding inline styling to the 'Portfolio > Category > Description field' is removed when saving the category.

Sorry, but we do not provide help with the theme informations, but that behavior with removing the description field when saving is not normal.

Please provide us with your hosting environment settings, to do that please follow these steps:
1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health http://prntscr.com/nlyb22
2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab http://prntscr.com/nlybm2
3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab http://prntscr.com/nlybyr
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

Please use snag.gy or pasteboard.co to host the screenshot and send us the link to it.

That first screenshot is made in the "WIX" not in the BeTheme.

But, please contact your hosting provider and ask him about increasing the "PHP MAX INPUT VARS" value to the 5000.

After that, try to fill the description field once more.

If you want to style this text, you should do it with custom CSS, not inline styling inside the description field - this method will not work. If you would send us a link to this page, we then could help you with simple text styling.

there is a simple css with most of the font styling option included, adjust to your needs
