Menu shows Visual Composer (WPBakery) code

We're using Visual Composer for some pages.

Adding a page into the menu that has Visual Composer displays the menu item plus the VC code and throws out the whole page display and menu

If we add custom links as menu items then it displays OK.

Hi, did you make any changes to the menu to test direct page links? We had to change the menu to use only custom links (as per initial ticket: "If we add custom links as menu items then it displays OK.")

if we add direct page (that have Visual Composer) for menu items then you see the VC code (as per the screen grab in the original ticket: https://www.screencast.com/t/cNbDxtsw)

What you are testng and screen grabbing is the menu that we have had to modify so that menu items are created as Custom Links.

With the WP Admin login have you looked at the menu and changed to insert a page instead of a Custom Link?

To make life easier I have set up a dummy menu so that you can log in, change the menu to the dummy menu and see the effect.

Dummy menu is: BeDummy

You've inserted the WPBakery code in the "Description" field of menu

Remove that and everything will be okay.

We can remove but it shouldn't be doing this and it will become a problem once the client starts using and modifying.

After disabling all of the plugins, new menu items does not longer have this string which was pasted there automatically.

It's not a theme fault, it's problem related to one of your third-party plugins - you have to find the issued one by disabling one by one and get rid of him.
