Classic Blog Pre Built Website

Hi

Do you have a pre-built theme that uses the Classic Blog layout? (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/blog/classic/?mfn-s)

I've been trying to set up a classic blog layout on my site and failing miserably so thought I could look at a pre-built site to figure out how to set it up properly.

Hi, don't you see the posts?

If this is the case, you must go to the Wordpres administration, settings / reading / and then you just have to choose the page of entrances and in the box you choose "blog" and that's it! Finally when creating an entry you choose if you want the sidebar to the right, left or both sides.

Thx, I see the posts, I just can't get the blog page to show in the Classic style as per the layout here: (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/blog/classic/?mfn-s)

markxkr Maybe you mean this? you just have to enter theme options / blog, portfolio & shop / Blog and choose the "Classic" view

What I had set in the main blog settings is, what I think

I also checked the blog page template and that is also set to

To see the sidebar in the blog, you must add it. Theme options / sidebars / Add sidebar

BTW - is it just me or are there 'too many' places where the blog needs to be configured?

Hello!

First of all make sure your posts are created.

Then create your blog page in pages and make sure you leave it blank ( do not add any items to it or content)

Finally, go to wordpress>settings>reading and set this newly created blog page as the main posts page, screen: https://prnt.sc/pxrjou

The style of the blog can be managed from theme options>blog
