Image sizes

Hi there -

Is there anywhere to look for image size guidelines? In particular I am looking for the right size for the featured image/header - if you go to my blog page you can see there are black gaps on either side, and I had to guess to get it that close.

Hi Patty,

it depends on what kind of screens you use website. We always use width for HD, so it's 1920px width.

What is the best size for:

featured image/header for blogs

featured image/single blog posts.

For both, we use 1200x480px size.

OK, I'm having trouble with the header on the single blog page.

I have uploaded a file sized 1200x480 (based on your recommendation)

I've placed that as the 'featured image on the main blog page (not post, page)

It's showing as not wide enough and too tall.

On our side, image size is enough. If it's not enough then upload larger one, like 1920px width. But if it's too tall then try something like 250px height.
