Hello,

How do I add alt tags to my images for the shop, they aren't showing up for my woocommerce shop images

Hello Jen,

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of the browser and try to attach the alt tags for images once more.

After that, please turn on the woocommerce only and check, if the alt tags are there.

I have been putting the alt information in the media library of wordpress. Is this what you mean by attaching the alt images again? Is there another way to attach alt tags for the product images?

Hello Jen,

yes, adding it in the wordpress media library is the only and proper way to do it.

Please try to download the image file to your PC and then upload it again to your wordpress.

We see that some users use different website transfering plugins, and the alt info does not work or get updated in the database after a transfer.

Check by reuploding the image.

The alt tags are working fine, you just didn't fill all of the alt tags on images.

I've filled few of them and they have the alt tag.
