Trying to reverse menu bar colour

Hi all

Ive been trying to change the colour of my menu bar from white to blue, but im not sure any of the colour options actually change that- or am i mistaken?

Hi,

if you use pre-defined skin, then colors from muffin options panel won't work because custom colors works only with custom skin. In this case you should use custom css as below:

#Top_bar { background: #000 !important; }

Hi, thanks i was using the custom background.

Ive altered it now but now i need to change the hover colour of the menu as it is the same as the menu colour ( so you cant see the menu titles when clicked on)

there isnt an option to do that as i can see - is it possible?

Which hover color you want to change? Do you mean blue text color which is visible on hover?

Yes,

i need to change it so that when i hover over it, the hover colour isnt blending in with the blue menu bar. The colour needs to stay black instead of turning to blue when hovered over

Ok. So to do this, please use below css:

#Top_bar .menu > li > a:hover { color: #000 !important; }
