Updates scatters the page

Updates attempt scatters the page, where only the header and white page are visible, the rest disappears.

The problem is the theme-options.php file, which seems to be overwritten and the setting options not saved, so that the theme cannot be updated normally.

The only option is to upload files via FTP without the theme-options.php file.

How do you solve the problem so that you can update normally through the WordPress panel without the page crashing?

  • Hello,
Before updating, please be sure that your wp is up to date and php version is 7 or higher.
Also, please disable all of the plugins and check, if your issue still exists.
    Thanks
  • There is the latest PHP version, all BeTheme panel status requirements are met, the site status in the WordPress panel is 100% met.

A re-upgrade from 21.5.3 to 21.5.4 spoiled the site to the same state, i.e. the bar at the top and the rest of the white page.
  • Cache cleared. Disabled plugins outside the BeTheme package, the same problems, community links do not open in a new window, and the update to the latest version breaks down again, corrupts the entire page and overwrites the theme-options.php file in such a way that the page does not maintain its theme settings, What's the problem is that you can't update the theme normally?

BeTheme status system test everything positively. WordPress website status 100% test. PHP latest version. Cache cleared.

    problems:
    - does not open social media links in a new window, despite the ON settings
    - it breaks the page with every update from the WordPress panel, only the top bar is visible and nothing else, you need to manually copy the theme-options.php file before the update and after uploading it again via FTP, because the site does not work otherwise.
    - after upgrading to the latest version of BeTheme I do not see the available update of the Slider Revolution plugin to version 6.1.8 from 6.1.7, in the plugin settings it appears as unregistered, why?

    Theme registered Purchase Code valid.

How to solve the above problems?

I removed other topic about the "social media links not opening in new window" and "Plugin updates problem", because they were just a multipost.

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact
form which is on the right side at
http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what
    might be the reason.

  • Please remove whole parent theme from the hosting and paste it once more, but please download the package from the themeforest once more.
Also, please ask your hosting provider about cache, because issue look like related to it.

About the RevSlider update, purchase codes (license keys) are not included for plugins which are
bundled into the theme. It’s because of Themeforest license &
agreements. This applies to all themes of course. However, there is no
need to use this code because the plugins are fully functional without
    it.

Something like “Free” version of a plugin does not exist. All bundled
plugins are included with extended licenses and users can use these
plugins within the theme without needing to purchase them separately.
This is standard and according to ThemeForest rules.
More information about the bundled plugins, you will find here.
You have to wait a couple of days, we'll release the update for this plugin when we'll test it, if it does not break the theme in any way.

    Thanks
  • The complete removal of the directory probably solved the problem.

The upgrade has been upgraded from 21.5.4 to 21.5.5.
