Adding search bar/icon in main header

How do I add the search icon to top menu like in this demo?

I cant seem to find the feature or button to do so or add any search bar for that matter.

How can I do this.

Hello,

Please go to the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Extras and change the "Search" dropdown menu to "Icon | Default"

I thought that was the answer. I did do that but it still just doesn't appear. Not sure why.

Edit: It does appear in the header but it appears to be white thats why I didn't notice. I figured that out

How can I change the color of the text when typing into the search field? It defaults to white text

You can change the background color of that field in the Theme Options > Colors > Header,

How do you change the font color in the search bar?

It can be changed with the CSS code, please use this one:

#Top_bar .search_wrapper input[type="text"]{
	color:green !important;
}

Be aware, that it changes the font color only to the typed text, not placeholder.
