Page Updates Not Working.

Hi, I'm having issues adding new content to a page via muffin builder, I add on section and click save and page does not save. Get this error

Then I Upgraded Theme, WP and plugins, same error, Then deactivate all plugins, no error as such, seems to save but there is nothing on the front end, then refresh builder and the new section is gone.

Set PHP version to 7.4

Updated .htaccess file with

php_value max_input_vars 5000

php_value max_execution_time 300

Look at Site Health and see this under Server.

Is SUHOSIN installed? No

Is the Imagick library available? No

.htaccess rules Custom rules have been added to your .htaccess file.

Can't find a solution to this, can you help please?

Hey,

after disabling all plugins the issue did no longer happend to me.

This could be those security plugins that can really do more harm than good.

To be sure disable all of them and check yourself.

HI Bryan, Did you get anyting to display on the front end?

But nothing displays on the front end, then when I come back to edit it further, it has disapeared again like it did before.

Yeah, sorry you are right, I checked a new page and it worked fine. Only the home page has an issue, even when you do not add anything, you cannot save anything. I will respond to you tommorrow after the dev team has a look into it.

Hey,

the issue was that you have pasted custom CSS into the first section bacground color field.This did not let the page to be saved and crashed it completly.

We managed to save it, and copy it to a new page called "Home NEW", we have set up this page as the main page. Do not use the old home page, check if everything is correct with the new one and remove the old one.

great, Thanks Bryan. Any ideas on the cause as to why this css would cause this? The css field is there for custom css for the page.

The issue is on the CSS side you provided was not correct, you probably missed the ' or " sign
