Full width image on Page

edited April 2020 in Theme support
How do I create a full width, featured image on a page? We're trying to add a team photo to our page here https://www.phoenixlidar.com/sample-page/

I would like the featured image to be full-width with no white space on either side of the image. I've set the image size to "full width" but this doesn't seem to help? What am I missing. The image size is 2560 X 883 pixels, so it should be plenty big enough. Thanks.

  • Hello,
Just set it in the "Image" item of the Muffin Builder, set the size of it to "Full" and then, please get into the section settings (pencil icon), and turn on the "Full Width" on the bottom of settings.
I wanted to insert the screenshot of that field, but image hosting we use is down right now - sorry about that.

    Thanks

  • Those are the settings I have on the image above in the link. It's like there's some hidden margin settings or something? Look at the image here. https://www.phoenixlidar.com/team/

Now look at the image on this test page. This is what we want. This image has the same exact settings as the first link, but it's showing as full width? https://www.phoenixlidar.com/sample-page/

Please let me know how to edit the first image to match the second. Again, they have the same exact settings in muffin builder.
  • You can achieve it in two ways by attaching your image to be background image of a section, your image will be always full width, without any margins - but you have to insert some item inside that section to create a height inside (or attach a padding for a section)

Second way will be the same as I told you earlier - image item with full size seleced.
Remember, in both cases your section settings should look like here:

    Thanks
