    Can you unlock your website once more?
    I think that your wordpress files are corrupted, and that's why it's enabling the maintenance while I tried to update your theme, also I noticed some errors in console which are coming straight from the wordpress files.

    Also, please ask your hosting provider about some longs, he should enlight the source of the problem too.

    Sorry, but the problem is clearly related to the hosting provider - we wanted to reinstall the wordpress on default theme (twentytwenty) and it does not pass - it's stuck while downloading the package from official wordpress website.

    Please contact the hosting provider once more and ask him about these logs, it must be something related to the hosting provider.

    The problem could be both. Your hosting should help you with that best since this is not the themes fault. They should look at the logs and tell you why the update does not complete.
