Transparent padding between header and content (and sidebar)

I would like to have a transparent padding between the header and slider and sidebar of course.

Hi,

It worked thanks but is it also possible to have the content part (incl. sidebar) under the header smaller?

I want the header to be fullwidth and slider and sidebar smaller.

Ooh I just realized... there is a space now as I wanted but it is the same colour like the content (white). I want it to be transparent.

I can do it, but you will lose the background color from a lot of elements, not only from this white strip, because I have to change the "Wrapper" background color, which is used by the some elements.
