Pages not updating when using shortcodes

Hi,

My webpage https://cacpeloja.fin.ec/ does not update when I use a shortcode on Muffin Page Builder. If I add code without a shortcode the changes are saved normally. My php versión is 7.1. How can I fix this issue?

Thanks.

    Hello,

I tried and didn't work. The problem is that when I put a shortcode the changes are not saved. The web got stuck.

    Help
  • Hi,

Please provide us with your hosting environment settings, to do that please follow these steps:
    1) Go to the Wordpress > Tools > Site Health http://prntscr.com/nlyb22
    2) Click at the “Info” on the top of the page and open the “Server” tab http://prntscr.com/nlybm2
    3) Take a screenshot of the content inside that ‘Server’ tab http://prntscr.com/nlybyr
Please make sure you are using Wordpress 5.2 or later, previous versions did not have this option built in.

Please use snag.gy or pasteboard.co to host the screenshot and send us the link to it.

    Thanks

Also, I'm trying to add the Google Analytics tracking code in the Theme Options. Once I click on "Save changes" it takes me to the 404 error page.
  • Probably you made some HTML issue, because I applied 3 shortcodes and it works.

Please send us a screenshot how you pasted the google analytics code - also, try to save it with all of the plugins disabled, because you have some of them which are not supported.
    Thanks

That's weird because I tested it on a blank page the other day. Now it works fine. I can save changes on pages with shortcodes. Thank you.

As for the google analytics code. I'm still having issues.

Then I click on "Save changes" and I get the 404 error page. Weird right? It even happens with all plugins disabled.

  • Can you contact the hosting provider and ask him about some logs?
He should give us some light about the source of the problem

    Thanks

Well, I was trying to make some changes and I typed random letters and it did saved ok. The problem seems to be when trying to save a script. Maybe some hosting filters?. Anyway I solved it by installing the Google Site Kit plugin for wordpress. Now I have the google analytics service working.

    Thanks for your help.
