How add social icon to menu? By following the instructions, nothing changes.

I will add that by creating a new "Social menu" and selecting "Social media upper" -
nothing is displayed, not even plain text.

Hello,
You can add only the social menu above the menu - please remove assigment from "Social Menu Upper" and turn on the "Action Bar" feature.
Theme Options > Menu & Action Bar > Action Bar
