new install. saving page gives 404 error

Hi. I just installed your theme on a new site using the Decor 2 template but I am having issues saving it after making changes.. goes to a 404 error page. Please can you urgently assist.

Also, kindly confirm which is the best builder to use, I see Elementor is available but seems like only muffin builder is working.

Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.

sorry, that did not work. i have also tried in 2 different browsers (chrome & firefox).

Hey,

I logged in and edited the "about" page, then saved it. Everything saved fine. Where do you see this issue exactly?

All included builders work but you cannot edit Muffin Builder content using Elementor. You have to install an Elementor pre-built website to do that.

Only the HOMEPAGE that gives the issue. The other pages save fine.

I know - I am only using the muffin builder. Will uninstall Elementor.

Please can you see what's causing it on the homepage. Thanks.

I inserted at the end of the muffin builder the "MuffinTest" text and it works fine, I do not see the issue at all.

Ok. I don't know what to do.

I went in, delete your Muffin Test - this is what happens when I press the update button to save the page

Can you disable all of your browser's addons?

They could be the source of the problem too.

Did not work either.

By now I've cleared my cache and cookies multiple times in 3 browsers... safari, firefox and chrome

i even made a copy of my page - same

pressing update goes to https://mullinhouse.virtualwebassist.co.za/wp-admin/post.php which serves a 404 error.. reloading the page serves the post page in the dashboard

please can someone help me

What if you change from Betheme to another theme, like twentytwenty. Does it still serve an error?

I entered your website once more, create a test page, inserted content and it works fine. There must be something wrong with the addons on your browser. Could you also try another browser?

ok can you please do one thing for me... please export the homepage content + import it into your muffin-test template.

as with ALL the other pages in the site, I have no problem saving.. only the Homepage + the clone of the homepage for some reason.. so maybe if we get the test page to look like the homepage I can carry on working from there. Thank you.

Well, I disabled all of the plugins and it works.

You should disable the plugins while doing that processs.
