Linked image layer in Revolution Slider does not work on iPad

Hello,

I created a slide in Revolution Slider containing an image layer which is linked to an internal page (see minaentertainment.df-kunde.de). The image link works as aspected on a PC. 
The image link does not work on my iPad. If I touch the image it gets a bit darker for a very short moment but nothing happens after all. If I do a long touch the context menu shows up and I can click on 'Open' to open the link. 

Any ideas how to make the image link work on iPad with a simple touch?
