this is how this style of portfolio works, if you do not like that, please use a different style, there are plenty to choose from.

I'm OK with the function of the hover, but only the title is clickable, can we make the entire image clickable?

It cannot be extended to be clickable on entire image, this is how it's hardcoded in the theme.

To change that, you would have to change the html code of that style.
