Mobile hover effects not working on all portfolio items

On a desktop/laptop the site functions perfectly.

If you view that site on a mobile device (iphone 5/6) and click on either of the first two thumbnails the title displays as it should. If you click any of the other portfolio items no hover effects (titles) as displayed. 

I've tried uploading to the newest version of the parent and child themes and removed all customized CSS and the hover effects still don't work on mobile.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    maybe you forgot to enable hover effects on mobile under Theme options > Responsive section?

    Thanks for you're response. The settings are correct,

    Theme Options > Hover Effects > Always Enabled

    The hover effects work on the first two portfolio items, but none of the other portfolio items. 

    Any idea why they only work on the first two portfolio items on mobile devices but all the portfolio items on desktops?
