LayerSlider 6.11.2 & WordPress 5.5.1 Compatibility

Hello,

I have the latest version of LayerSlider and all plugins updated with WordPress 5.5.1, but LayerSlider is not functioning as intended.

Our Company Logo is not appearing on the bottom left corner.

Here is what my LayerSlider settings look like:

I'm also getting the following message from LayerSlider on the top of my WordPress Dashboard:

If needed, seek out the authors of the affected items and ask them to make the necessary changes.

Based on the above message, I've Installed and Activated the suggested [jQuery Migrate Helper] plugin, but it doesn't seem to be fixing my LayerSlider issues.

Hey,

please try to remove the htaccess file from your FTP. Then go to wordpress>settings>permalinks. Set it to post name and click save. This will create a new htaccess file.

The main .htaccess file, or the one in the /uploads folder?

I did the above with the main .htaccess file, and still no icon

I've also tried temporarily removing the .htaccess file from the /wp-content/uploads/ folder with no luck

I found a workaround, where I had to add a custom css to the theme:

new code:

.mfn-layer-slider .ls-yourlogo {z-index: 100;}

the original code was hiding it:

.mfn-layer-slider .ls-yourlogo {z-index: 65;}
