  • Hello,
Please send us a link to the phpinfo file,

    Thanks
  • Your global "PHP Max Input Vars" is set to 1000 - it's too low value.
Please contact your hosting provider and ask him about increasing that value to min. 5000.

After that, everything will be fine :)
    thanks
  • It is already set at 5000. Please go to page 3...max_input vars is at 5000 (local level)

Also, look at this screenshot from our wordpress back end...the Betheme system status even says it is at 5000. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V-TbN0zfl3je0P3zrtFxla9N6XdGuPuu/view?usp=sharing

Please advise ASAP...we cannot update any of our pages..and some of our pages are fully down with these errors.
  • if you need access to our backend, please advise.
  • The local value won't cross your global value in any way.
As you can see, your global value of max input vars is set to 1000, then even if your local value is set to 5000, then it will be limited to 1000

    thanks
  • Then why is Bethemes own system status checker saying that it is at 5000?? And our host said that the local value overwrites the master value..

We believe our issue is the same as this ticket:
    https://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/52641/muffin-builder-cannot-add-content

Those users told you the same, that they already had there vars to 5000. And you needed access to their backend.

Please advise ASAP...as this error is now effecting our business..

As you can see, your global value of max input vars is set to 1000, then
even if your local value is set to 5000, then it will be limited to 1000, it won't cross that value.
The global value is always more important than local.

This issue is not a new issue and it's always getting resolved when master(global) value gets increased.
Our System Status check the local value, because usually when hosting provider is asked to increase it, he increase both of them, not only the local value.

    Thanks
  • We have been told by our host, that we CANNOT CHANGE our master value.
  • can you please send us the theme files for your PREVIOUS version of BETHEME? We were not experiencing these issues until the latest update.
  • Then all that we can suggest for now is to change the hosting provider, because the 1000 global value is not enough value for a little bit longer pages.
The minimal GLOBAL value must be set to 5000.

We do not keep old versions of betheme, you can download only the latest version from themeforest profile.
Or contact your hosting provider to restore backup from few days ago.
But, we can assure, that this problem will appear anyway, when the content of your page will cross some amount of variables.

    Thanks
  • Actually. It looks like this issue has to do with the LATEST update to Betheme. I was experiencing literally the same issue as the above user in this thread. I also have a theme host that only allows a global value of 1000. This issue WAS NOT occurring before the latest theme update.

Good thing I backed up before updating to the latest version. I have since restored to the older version of bethem and everything is working fine.

    How do you explain this?

  • If you will populate with more content your page will be cut off anyway - it looks like you are near the limit of it.

That's why we suggest, to change your hosting provider if he does not want you to change that value, because it's really important to have it set to 5000.

Also, if it would be a problem of a theme, then a lot of tickets would be asking about the same, but for now, it's only affecting you.
As I said earlier, this issue is not a new issue, and it gets always resolved when that parameter is set to 5000.

If you have some other questions, feel free to ask.
    thanks
