WP Bakery Update did not work

Hi

In the admin panel I navigated to BeTheme -> install plugins to update the WPBakery Page Builder.

I clicked the link to update the WPBakery and all that happened was the right side of screen was blank.

Refreshed page and saw an activate link. When I clicked that nothing happened.

I tried deactivating all plugins and performing this action again - no go.

Please help me out.

Hello,

one of the plugins must be causing this issue. You ill have to go to your FTP wp-includes/plugins and change the folder name. This will deactivate those plugins and you will be able to change the name back and turn on the plugins you need.

HI

I did what you asked, then activated WP plugin and got this message

Fatal error: Cannot declare class WPBakeryShortCode, because the name is already in use in /home/apldvhwt75w1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/shortcodes/core/class-wpbakeryshortcode.php on line 866
