Betheme not updating from version 21.7.7 to 21.9.

Hi I am trying to install version 21.9  but the theme is not updating. the screen stops after the following:

The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.

Enabling Maintenance mode…

Updating Theme Betheme (1/1) 


I have tried 5 to 6 times from past few hours. Can you please help?
