  Hello,
  If you do not want your menu to stay in place while scrolling, you must unselect "Sticky" in "Betheme > Theme Options > Responsive > Header".
  Also, do not want your Header to cover the text, you can select "Transparent" in the same localization.

  Moreover, remove your Custom CSS Code you mentioned to ensure that the options I talked about will work correctly.

  I see that you are using child Theme, and also you made couple of modifications on your website.
  It is hard to investigate with changes like that.
  Please, use parent Theme or reinstall your Betheme.
