Hello,

We use BeTheme on all of our website builds, and we launched this site several months ago with no issues. Now, we are unable to save some changes when we are using muffin builder. We have increased the PHP Max Input Vars to 10,000 from 5000, but it does not help. We checked the hosting company, and there is no global Max Input Vars limit that is overriding 10,000. The company for whom we built the website has an internal marketing person who has added some additional plugins, so we wonder if it could be a plugin conflict. WordPress version is 5.5.3.

Could you advise as to what you think the issue might be? Anytime we have confronted this issue in the past, it was a matter of increasing Max Input Vars, but it does not help. Thank you.

Hello,
I noticed that you have changed only the Local Value of "max_input_vars", but the Master Value have to be modified too.

Please, contact your hosting provider to increase this value, and check if the issue still appears.

Thank you. I will call them again today. Yesterday they said the global value had changed too, but let me call again.

I spoke with the web hosting company who double-checked with the server team. The Local Value for Max Input Vars of 10,000 which is reflected in our BeTheme dashboard does override the Master Value of 1000. So, they don't believe the Master Value of 1000 is the problem.

The master value is always overwriting the local value.

Even if you will set 1m local value while your master value is set to 1000, then your local value will be limited to 1000.

We solved hundred of issues related to the php_max_input_vars and there is no option to solve it in other way.

If your hosting provider will not be able to change that or refuse to change it, the only thing that we can suggest is to change the service provider.

OK. Thank you, and I will call them again. I think you are correct too, and the issues we are having are consistent with the PHP Max Input Vars being too low.
