  Hello,
  I can see that you have SSL installed. Can you tell me how did you install it? By some plugin, or in hosting settings?
  
  You can try to turn off all of the plugins, and check if this error appears without them.

  I have tried removing the SSL with the help of siteground. They were unable to and suggest that somewhere in the database the https is hard coded?

  No luck with all plugins turned off.

  Is it possible to upload the update via ftp?

  Yes have checked all of the htaccess settings. Even ran a simple htaccess file with nothing but standard WP and https lines.

  Yes, you can install update via FTP.
  You just need to delete Betheme files, and upload the newest ones from Themeforest.

  No, the plugins can be only updated/downloaded from our Betheme > Install Plugins tab.

  Phil [Support Team] told you, then you have to contact your hosting provider about it, because all of the settings related to the SSL and BeTheme + WP are made correctly.

  
  

  For sure, the hosting provider will check the server logs and give you some advice, what to do to make it work.
