Looking for settings for Single Post Layout

I'd like to have my single post pages look like this - https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/wallet/aenean-gravida-vitae-lorem-fermentum/ ... except I'd like to have my post title show up below the featured image. Can you please let me know what settings to use?

  • Hello,

We do not have exactly the same layout like you describe, but if you want, you can use the Builder template, which will allow you to build the single post as a regular page :)

    See it here:

    Thanks

  • I'd like to know to achieve what you are showing in the demos...

    1. On my single post page, i want the two arrows and four squares buttons to show up on the top. I took a screen grab and put a red box around what i want.
    2. On an elementor page where i have the Be-Blog element added to display a list of posts. I'd like the 'filter by' row to show up at the top. Again, I took a screen grab and circled what I'm referring to.
  • I'm also wondering how to achieve the full width element in the blog post - i'm using elementor but can't the content to stretch across the full width of the page like you have in the demo that i put a screen show of below (here is my page - https://miratasoftware.wpengine.com/resources/business-value-of-our-ditial-forms/ )

  • 1) This bar with square and arrows is named "Header Arrows", you can enable it in Theme Options -> Blog, Portfolio & Shop -> General - just be sure that you not hide it and selected the style of header arrows.

    2) It's built with the Muffin Builder, just Full Width section is enabled - but I tested it with Elementor and it should work fine too, be sure that you checked these two options on

    Thanks

  • For number one - I've confirmed that I don't have any of those boxes checked. I see the arrows, but not the center icon with the four squares. How do I get that to show up?

For two, my problem was i was trying to do it in an 'inner section'. Has to be a separate section. Thanks for the help!

  • I'm trying to build out my blog posts (https://miratasoftware.wpengine.com/resources/business-value-of-our-ditial-forms/ ) to look like your example here (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/wallet/aenean-gravida-vitae-lorem-fermentum/). I'm using elementor. I need to have the image you see on my post in my header. Other pages on my site have a transparent header so I have to set it manually on the post page. To accomplish this, I've set my template the 'Builder' and am using an element in the muffin builder to add the image at the top of the post page. Then I build the content in elementor. The problem is that now I don't have any of the dynamic post information I need (related posts, comments, arrows at top, etc). Is there a way to get these elements to show up with my current setup? If not, what do you suggest?

  • So, about these arrows and squre, you should change the "Builder" template to "Default Template" - because the "Builder" template is removing all of the items related to the basic functionality of single post.

Sorry, that I suggested it you earlier, I through that you do not need that "square" element at the beginning of the post.

    Greetings

  • I'm still really struggling with this theme and the single post layout. I I need some way to control the header/logo area. I was able to achieve this on all other pages, but since the posts are dynamically created, i can't find where to edit the single post page template so that the logo shows up on mobile. I'm using builder for template setting and then building out the pages in elementor. You can see how it looks here - https://miratasoftware.wpengine.com/resources/business-value-of-our-ditial-forms/ --- but on mobile the logo area is screwed up.

  • Well, your logo is white on white mobile menu, you can fix it in two ways:

    1) Change the logo to other, with stroke or other color for mobile only.

Theme Options -> Responsive -> General

    2) Change the "Top Bar Left" background color to other, because it's the color of mobile background header color.

Theme Options -> Colors -> Header

Also, some of your CSS codes is changing the position of the logo ;)

    Thanks

  • i just want to move the background image up on mobile so it looks like the page looks on desktop and tablet. Any way to do this? Seems like on mobile there is a white bar across the top and the background image (set in the theme options header settings) is pushed down. This is only an issue on the dynamic post pages - for the pages on the site i was able control this in elementor.

  • Your header does have some height applied, can you remove it? I mean change to 0px?

Theme options -> Header & Subheader -> Header

    thanks

  • i just confirmed...the height is set to 0 in the theme settings.

  • additionally - I have related posts set to showup. but they are not showing up on the post page!

  • I think the problem might be that i'm using the 'builder' template... but i can't find anywhere to set my options for builder.

  • I rebuilt it using the default template and elementor. is there a way to remove the four squares and arrows navigation at the top (or reposition it somewho). Currently it is making a mess of things at certain browser widths). https://miratasoftware.wpengine.com/resources/business-value-of-our-ditial-forms/

  • We'll check the situation with the builder template, because it shouldn't work that way.

And yes, of course you can disable these squares at the top, please go to the Theme Options -> Blog, Portfolio & Shop -> General, and tick enable the "Hide Header Arrows" option.

    Thanks
